ApowerMirror is an application from Apowersoft that allows you to project and control your mobile device’s screen from your PC and vice versa.
I downloaded ApowerMirror relatively recently because I make vlogs with my phone, and the front camera, as with all phones, is of lower quality than the rear cameras. Therefore, I needed a monitor to manage the camera app on my phone from my PC.

For that, you just need to click on the link that says “see discount” which will take you to the checkout page where the discount will be applied automatically unless you see a code, which you only have to copy and paste in the box that says “I have a discount”.

How do I install it and use it?
It’s very likely that you you’ve tried several applications to project your phone’s screen onto your PC, and there’s always some error or glitch.
It’s hard to say whether it’s easy or not because each phone manufacturer adds its own restrictions, sometimes the PC has its issues, and the Wi-Fi connection might not be the best.
From my experience, I can tell you how I connected with ApowerMirror:
- You must use USB if you have Android (or Wi-Fi if you have iOS),
- You need to authorize your Android to connect,
- Download ApowerMirror on your PC and phone from Google Play and install it,
- Open the app on both devices and connect.
Step 1: Use USB if you have Android or Wi-Fi if you have iOS
For some reason, ApowerMirror only works via USB with Android, so if you need to connect via Wi-Fi, it’s better to use an iPhone. However, I recommend downloading the trial version because I can’t guarantee it will work perfectly with your device either.
Step 2: Authorize your mobile device to connect
To give permission on your Android, you just need to go to Settings, then Additional Settings, and then Developer Options.
There, you’ll enable “Developer Options” and finally activate “USB Debugging.”
That’s it.
Step 3: Download ApowerMirror on your PC and phone
You can download ApowerMirror from this link for your PC and from Google Play for your Android or the Apple Store for your iOS.
Just click on Install.
Step 4: Open the app on both devices and connect
When you connect your phone, the app will ask how you want to connect—via USB, Wi-Fi, or QR code.
If you’re using Android, choose USB; if you’re using iOS, use Wi-Fi.

Once you click on the device, it will be projected onto your PC.
